Troels Jacobsen, leder for NARMA har deltatt på begge årsmøter og gir her en lille oppsummering. SRA-International er den neststørste forening for forskningsadministratorer (FA) i USA. SRA-International årsmøte 2014 er en stor samling for FA som gikk fra 18 til 22. oktober samlet ca. 1700 deltakere i San Diego, California. Lørdagen og søndagen foregikk 36 workshop som man må melde seg på separat og betale i tillegg til årskonferanse avgiften. Fra mandag til onsdag tilbys nesten 140 innlegg i ca. 14 parallelle sesjoner! In conjunction with the SRA International Annual Meeting in San Diego, October 2014, the international networks of SRA International, EARMA and DARMA have arranged a pre-conference and post-conference study tour to outstanding research institutions of the West Coast of North America. Time: October 13 – 24, 2014.
The professional theme of the tour is International Collaboration, Innovation and Research Impact. The aim is an exchange of best practices between visitors and hosts and developing the international network of all the people involved.
International participants of the SRA International Annual Meeting are invited to join the study tour for a unique opportunity to meet and share knowledge between international, Canadian and US colleagues.
