Senior Advisor in External Research Funding above the Arctic Circle

The position is at the Project Office at The Faculty of Health Sciences. The office works within various research administrative fields supporting externally financed research projects. The successful candidate will support and advice researchers applying for external funding with a specific focus on the EU’s framework program and the Research Council of Norway’s programs.

The successful candidate will engage in varied work tasks in collaboration with both academic and administrative employees and will have a high level of independence and flexibility.

Salary: Between NOK 534.400- 677.600 (€53227-67490) per annum depending on qualifications and experience. For specially qualified persons, higher salary will be considered. From the salary, 2 % is deducted as a contribution to the Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund. The position also includes 5 weeks of paid annual leave, good welfare schemes and favorable terms in the Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund.

• Provide information and to support researchers in designing and writing grant proposals, in particular EU framework program and Research Council of Norway

• Contribute to skills-building measures in externally financing research activity
• Facilitating networking and building contacts with business and industry, organizations, public enterprises, the policy instrument, authorities, and relevant research environments
