International Center for Scientific Debate, Barcelona, invites to a seminar on Open Science from October 4-5th 2018.
This is joint initiative of Biocat and Obra Social “la Caixa”, co-organized with the Centre for Genomic Regulation(CRG), the University of Barcelona (UB), the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal), the IrsiCaixa AIDS Research Institute and the Open University of Catalonia (UOC).
The goal of this event is to start building a roadmap for practicing Open Science, by gathering national and international experts from different disciplines and exchanging knowledge and good practices among participants.
We will focus on four main streams of Open Science: 1) Open Access; 2) Research integrity and reproducibility; 3) Research evaluation; and 4) Stakeholder engagement. The event itself will be a co-creation experience during dedicated working sessions, to build together specific recommendations with input from all relevant stakeholders.
Deadline for abstracts: July 9.
