Work is in progress towards the NARMA Conference 2016: 12-13. April 2016, here description of one of the planned sessions.
This session will explain how H2020 proposal should address innovation aspects, and so maximise impact. It will include information about structures and procedures for IP and Innovation management, and how to develop the draft Plan for Dissemination and Exploitation (now a mandatory requirement for H2020 proposals). Following this presentation there will be a group exercise, where relevant sections of a proposal will be discussed and evaluated against the formal H2020 evaluation criteria related to innovation and impact. Following the presentation and practical exercise attendees should be well equipped to support their researchers by being able to critically assess a draft proposal, with respect to innovation and impact, and to identify key areas for improvement.
This session will be held by Dr. Eugene Sweeney who has over 30 years experience of managing and commercialising research and new technologies. He is a regular contributor to seminars and courses concerned with IP awareness, IP management in universities, licensing and commercialising IP/research results. (http://iambicinnovation.com/people/)
